Asian stocks today closed mixed as investors are waiting for further catalyst and cues amid high valuations of share prices.

 
Equity markets in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan remained closed for a holiday. Japan's Nikkei-225 gained 0.7 per cent and South Korea’s KOSPI added 0.1 per cent while Singapore’s Straits Times slipped 0.2 per cent.
 
European shares were trading up, in intra day trade. London’s FTSC-100 rose 0.3 per cent while France’s CAC and Germany's DAX, both added 0.1 per cent.
